Delete File

scope files:delete

Permanently remove a file from your Account storage. This action cannot be undone and will immediately free up storage space. The file will no longer be accessible via API or SFTP.

Use this endpoint to clean up old files, remove temporary uploads, or manage storage quotas. Consider archiving important files before deletion if you may need them in the future.

Warning

This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Ensure you have backups of important files before deletion.

Files that are currently referenced in active Business Processes should not be deleted as this may cause errors.

Info

Deleted files are immediately removed from both API and SFTP access. Any existing links or references to the file will no longer work.

Storage space is freed immediately upon successful deletion.
