Making sure your Customers recognize that it's you.

The Account record contains a handful of attributes that we make reference to within the Customer experience, web, and messaging, to ensure the Customer knows the request is originating from you. You can always go into the Merchant Portal and navigate to settings to modify many of these attributes via GUI.

Below, are some highlights worth focusing on as you get your Account configured to be recognizable to your Customers.

Friendly Name

Within profile is an attribute friendlyName, which is used within the web and messaging experience as your name. This should be the publicly facing name (the sign on your brick-and-mortar location).

Brand

Within profile is an object theme that allows 3 attributes to be defined. These attributes impact the look and feel of the Customer experience (wallet.authvia.com) where your Customers engage with the requests you send.

  • primaryColor This will be used with some alpha variations to give a similar feel to your other experiences. This should be the main color your Customers would identify your business with. Do not use white, please.
  • borderRounding You want this to match any of your existing WEB or Application experiences that your Customers use. If you don't have any, leave it blank.
  • logo An HTTPS URL image of your logo. Ideally, with a transparent background in a 4/3 ratio, with about 1em of padding around the edges. It should look good over top of your primary color, with about a 20-40% alpha applied.

Brand Foundation: These brand settings form the foundation for establishing your brand with customers across the customer portal and email templates. Consistent branding builds recognition and trust throughout the customer journey.
