Improved
Outbound MMS for rich media attachments
You can send outbound MMS to customers with text plus images, video, GIFs, PDFs, and contact cards. Campaigns and payment reminders can use rich media instead of SMS-only messages.
- Outbound MMS supports common attachment types, including JPG and PNG images, MP4 and GIF video, PDF documents, and contact cards.
- Keep each attachment under 1MB so carriers accept the message and customers receive it reliably on mobile devices.
- JPG images tend to reach more handsets than PNG when you send photos or logos.
- Interactive message formats that MMS cannot display natively, such as carousels or location pins, are converted to text so recipients still get your content.
- When a send fails, you receive a clear error instead of a silent drop, so you can retry or adjust the message before the next attempt.
