FluidPay voids and refunds for card charges

You can void or refund FluidPay card charges through Authvia, so you cancel accidental or fraudulent charges before settlement or return funds after settlement without working around missing provider actions. Void and refund did not previously map through Authvia for FluidPay.

• Void charges that are still pending settlement, including authorized-but-uncaptured sales and captured charges not yet in the daily batch.
• Refund charges that have already settled when a void is no longer available.
• Successful voids mark the transaction voided and release the authorization hold on the customer's card; release timing still depends on the issuing bank.
• Attempting to void a settled charge returns a clear error so you use refund instead of void.
