FIS WorldPay Vantiv Express billing addresses with special characters
4 months ago
FIS WorldPay Vantiv Express authorize, charge, capture, and Payout requests now complete when the billing address includes accented or other non-ASCII characters. Previously those addresses could truncate the gateway request and fail even though the card and amount were valid.
- City and street names with characters outside basic Latin letters, such as Medellín, succeed instead of failing mid-request.
- Customers paying from international addresses no longer need to strip accents from saved billing details.
